The deal can be made permanent next summer for a further £23m.

Larsen, 24, attracted interest from Prem and Serie A clubs after  scoring 13 goals last season.

But Wolves have moved into pole position after opening talks with the striker’s representatives.

The forward will bring international experience to Molineux, having won 14 caps for Norway.

He has also scored three international goals since making his debut aged 20 in 2020.

Larsen’s international exploits have also seen him star alongside Erling Haaland.

The Manchester City hitman lined up with Larsen for Norway’s under-17s during their teenage years.

Haaland and Larsen have also played together on five occasions for the senior side.
